It obviously won't be dead on arrival but 6 months down the road might be a different issue. I don't blame Steam users for being concerned about online being dead. We don't know what kind of settings will be available for this game in particular but turning off settings will probably give us some nice responsive gameplay just like in Guilty Gear XRD. I used to play Unreal 2004 with Quality mode: No effect. This isn't Overwatch where each game has 12 players and you need that many players to keep it afloat. You don't need 10k+ players for it to be alive. Just throwing out my experience with the program over the last few weeks.You have to remember this game is a 1v1 fighting game. Havent noticed any backround processes running or anything shady. That probably means a lot of people are just assuming it is malware junk and guess what they will think next time they see the Parsec somewhere? Been using parsec now for a few weeks to play not only steam games but older emulator games. You are popping up red flags left and right.

As mentioned above I had to do research into who you guys are before deciding that you aren't here pushing malware. That's cool, but it is super weird that you are doing this on an alt account. Parsec allows the host to invite a friend, having the controllers being recognized natively, and get a match going within 30 seconds. The lack of a proper friend invite system makes playing with my friend very difficult, hence why Parsec is a great tool for that. We made this video because, as huge Dragon Ball fans, we love the game, but have some issues with the matchmaking system in it (just like many other players). I am aware this is a very new concept, and the easiest way for people to understand this new way of playing games is actually trying it. The reason why we say that you are playing "locally" is because you are in fact playing locally on the actual game, but because of Parsec game streaming that local experience turns into an online one. "You're playing locally online" - isn't that just a roundabout way of saying online? Like doesn't the second player still need the game? If so what does this accomplish exactly?
